Thank you Glad! Corel Painter X rocks! Especially for me,
as I'm really poor at traditional painting. My last watercolour attempt
ended up in the bin! You can paint in any medium you care to mention,
Oils, Acrylics, Watercolours, pencils, inks, anything you wish! But its the
added blending that looks so much like traditional mediums, that
really excites me about the program.

Thanks Gnomeboy, yup! Its digital. In fact this is my first completely
from scratch digital picture.I intend to practice more and improve my
shading and light play. I only started painting digitally this year, so I'm
pleased with my artistic progress so far this year. Hopefully in six months
I will look back and think this picture is crappy! :D

This is an old picture I did of Aleena, I recently started re-painting it. I just have the face
done at this stage.

Here is a detail from my latest picture. Its for my Niece, she loves drawing
Giants, Trolls and monsters.(wonder where she got that from?)
So I drew her with her favourite Ogre friend.

Latest commission pieces.

I'm not usually a pencil guy (ask anybody). But I turned this piece into a veritable pencil-fest,
took about 10 hours of scrawling.

mmmmm, I love weird monsters. Half of my metal minis are nothing but strange creatures that defy easy description.

I don't respond here because I usually see them on the TLG boards first, not here or DF.

However this board is where I've first seen the Burning Troll, and I like it! Wish I had it to use a week or so ago for a troll encounter I had in my game.
Castles and Crusades is my game of choice!

Thank you Glad! My the force be with you! :D

A quick little sketch, greysale and colour I put together this morning.
I inked this in Photoshop, trying out my new Inking brush. I generally
just sketch/ink my pieces traditionally.

A commissioned piece for good old Brave Halfling Publications

Inspiration for this piece is definately directed towards Brom and Darksun.

Wow there are a bunch of new pictures here. I haven't been in the art section in a while. I really like this last one with the skeleton. The flaming troll looks great too. The captive faerie that is being menaced by goblins is also interesting. Actually the more I look at it the more I like it. I think I like the captive faerie the most. Thanks for posting all of these great pictures.

Hi DCC Fan, glad someone here likes my art! :D

Image

I recieved this sad email from Jaybird217 lamenting the loss of his Gnome Ranger Fluggo

Finally, it pains me to report that Fluggo the Trident-Wielding Menace met his untimely end at the beak of a cockatrice in yesterday's game. Ironically, he's now a gnome-shaped statue. Suitable for gardens everywhere!

Fluggo turned 6th level about 30 minutes before his demise. Haha! It's no big deal. Just a terrible saving roll after I failed a Hide roll and was spotted by a fluttering cockatrice. It went like so:

GM: "The cockatrice pecks you for 2HP. Make a strength save to avoid petrification. Don't roll a 1".
Fluggo's Dicebot: "[1d20]=1".

Done and done. Realistically, I needed to roll a 4 or higher, but it wasn't meant to be. The little sucker had charged forth and bushwhacked an ogre mage in the previous encounter, only to be done in by a chicken with an attitude!
