Why no Liz nor Darlene?

Post by GnomeBoy »

Goodman Games has a reputation for including art in their homage-paying products that is made by the very artists that they are, in part, paying homage to with the products they produce...

But why no Darlene nor Liz Danforth? Both absolutely important enough to be included in the party.

Have I missed them showing up? Have they declined so far? Has no one pointed out they should be featured?

I agree, they're both candidates to include. But artists have different preferences when it comes to doing retro art. Some enjoy re-living the past; others want to move on. Some still enjoy D&D-style art; others have evolved. Some are burned out by the gaming industry; some can't wait to jump back in. And so on. The lack of their work in Goodman Games products is not for lack of appreciation of their talent!

True enough and thankfully there are plenty of the old-school artists still scrawling and working within the Industry.
Some unfortunately have moved on.
