Has anyone ever played the .hack games?

Post by edhaha »

These games are really fun, I got the 3rd one and its really good. It's a real-time fighting RPG if any of you like that...Just making a suggestion to gkplayer/com its about this online game and this virus called AIDA infects everything. This guy literally sacrifices himself into one attack and defeats the virus but when he kills it he made a big-ass monster. They fight the monster and win and stuff...happy ending...But all you do is run through some areas kill stuff and fight a boss...good stroyline tho What was the best thing about the game?

Played through the original .hack series (Infection/Mutation/Outbreak/Quarantine) and .hack//G.U. Still waiting for the .hack//Link to come to the US. I have the dvds for .hack//Sign, Legend of Twilight, and Roots. Also have most of the mangas and novels.

It was the inspiration for Worlds Within Worlds. I'd like to create more material to expand on the setting I created in that book but alas I haven't had the time.

The best thing about the game was the immersiveness. The characters were interesting and I wanted to know their story. In general I thought the original games did a better job on the characters but G.U. had better forums.
