Heroes of the Apocalypse tournament at Gen Con
Posted: Tue Aug 05, 2008 6:04 am
This thread is to help groups who are playing in the Heroes of the Apocalypse tournament at Gen Con Indy coordinate what characters they'll be playing and perhaps their strategies, and also to answer questions about the tournament, its rules, and the pregen characters.
The tournament DMs will be three out of the four Forgotten Heroes authors: me (the monk), Eytan (the druid) and Greg (the bard). Brian (the barbarian) will be around, but won't be running tournament rounds 'cause he has a Significant Other at the con. We should all be at the award ceremony at noon on Sunday, as should you - that's when winners will be announced, trophies will be awarded, pictures will be taken for posterity, and celebration will ensue.
If you're playing in the tournament, and aren't already in contact with your fellow players, go ahead and post the time of your tournament round in this thread. If the number of conversations between players in different rounds gets confusing, we'll have folks take it to a different thread or to an email conversation.
We're looking forward to trying to kill your characters at the tournament - good luck!
