This weekend I went up to Lake Geneva for Winter's Dark II, an event put on by the Trolls (see http://www.trolllord.com/newsite/events ... ark08.html
). A lot of folks were there, including Jim Ward and Frank Mentzer, and Steve and I had a chance to stop by Gary's house for dinner. I thought I'd post a couple pictures for those of you who couldn't make it. It's a fun, low-key con, with a bigger version in the summer, and a great place to visit if you're looking to play some games.
(These were taken on my cell phone so they're a little fuzzy...)

John Seibel and Steve at the booth... See the dice cubes in the lower left? I think this was around the time we were laughing about a defective die -- a customer found out that the d6 he'd just bought had no 1 or 6. The faces had 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5... I've never seen anything like it before. He'd been using the die in a game and wondering why his rolls were so low...
