Re: Power scale of DCC
While I am a fan of low-powered games, I also think that it should be realistically doable in AD&D for a magic-user to attain 18th level so as to be able to use those 9th-level spells. Sorry for using an AD&D example. I don't know enough about the DCC magic system to be able to use an exampl...

Re: DCC RPG Cover Art
I especially like that door. It's evocative and stirs the imagination.

a request regarding the dice
Using all the non-standard dice in the DCC RPG is a very cool idea. Assuming that a full set of such dice is made available by Goodman, please have the dice be: 1. opaque 2. inked 3. solid colors (as opposed to fancy, swirled, speckled, glittery, etc.) Why? Because such dice are the easiest to read....

Re: Appendix N, again
A. Merritt's books tend to be of the "Lost World" sub-genre, and they are both tantalizing and beautiful. I recommend starting with The Moon Pool.

Re: Curious about the DCC RPG packaging
Those non-standard dice are expensive . Wouldn't including non-standard dice that are expensive....uhh, make the entire boxed set more expensive ?!? What I'm wondering is if Goodman could buy the dice in bulk ("Hey, how much if we buy 2,000 each of your weird dice?") and thereby get them ...

Re: Curious about the DCC RPG packaging
For a d14, you can roll a d8 (re-rolling 8s) and a high-low die. I strongly support the idea of the entire rules being in a 64-page book. I also strongly support the use of strange dice. (Rolling weird shapes is fun.) Finally, I strongly support all these dice being included with the rulebook someho...

What system will the modules be for after DCC:RPG?
In 2011 Goodman Games will release the Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG.
Will the DCC modules continue to be written for 4E, or will they instead be written for the Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG?

Any beholders, mind flayers, carrion crawlers, etc. in DDC?
Since the time that a number of classic D&D monsters (beholder, carrion crawler, displacer beast, githyanki, githzerai, mind flayer/illithid, umber hulk, and yuan-ti) were defined as Product Identity by WotC, have any of these monsters ever appeared in Dungeon Crawl Classics modules? If so, how?...
