Could we have a break down by monster type, please? I am looking for plants, vermin and dragons and don't want to buy it if those are mostly absent. Also the pdf is mentioned at rpgnow as 128 pages yet the webpage here says 96. Which is it? I don't have the exact break down for monster type, howeve...

Just got my copy. :D

It looks absolutely fantastic. Very neat blending of old school monster manual and slick, modern graphic design.

I had never read any of the story hours, but I really like the sound of this. Glad to hear it. As far as I know, this is the first message board storyhour to be published, so I'm kind of playing the role of guinea pig. Pre-publication feedback has been very positive, so hopefully, I'll start a tren...

I am sure this was a bear of an edit. Thank you for your reply. Just a couple of addendums to your post. The issue I have with Elgor is his inability to cast spells while in melee. Also, he couldn't draw a weapon and shield in the same round as free actions unless he had two weapon fighting. But he...

Hi there, I was the stat editor for this adventure, so I’ll try to address your stat-based concerns. Black Elgor, pg 7 His belt of giant strength doesn't list the plus, I would make it +4 He has a shield but will find it very hard to use, since he can't have it on and use his rod or wield a weapon a...

Since the majority of the duergar in this module are fairly low-level, coverting them to psionic duergar should be pretty simple. In fact, the majority of the work will be simply swapping out spell-like abilties for psi-like abilities.

Starting very soon; I'll keep you guys 'in the know' regarding the progress, etc. We're all pretty much old tyme gamers -since the early/mid 80's- and have loads of experience to tap into. Even now, before the adventure's even begun, rivalries are forming betwix some of the players. Should be fun. ...

You, my friend, are in luck. Wizards used to run a series of short, free adventures on their website called cliffhangers. One of them featured a new monster: the wax golem. Here's the link to the critter. It's 3.0, but shuld be a cinch to convert. http://www.wizards.com/dnd/article.asp?x=dnd/ch/ch20...

I did all the monster, NPC, and PreGen stats for this adventure, and I can tell you, it's a bit of a meat grinder, even for epics. I would use the PreGen PCs as a guide for choosing equipment, and not use the item limits stated in the ELH. BD Why do you suggest the alteration from the ELH? Primaril...
