There is no table for this. Something is amiss if your Thief is not getting to use Backstab regularly. My group of player's Thief is constantly Hiding in the Shadows so when combat begins, they pretty much always get to use it.

The modules are great. Even if you don't run them, pretty much every single one of them comes with new spells, new magic items, and the occasional patron. Given the low cost of entry, I'd rather just grab a module once a month than a hardback.

How would you let that affect thieves? At low levels, a simple 1d3 +1 makes sense, but at higher levels where they throw many sided dice it doesn't seem as effective.

One could conceivably allow spellburn for Cleric's as a Divine Aid request. Essentially, "I sacrifice my life force for a power boost." Maybe make it burn at two stat points for for +1?

The Creepy/Eerie archives are much better than EC, in my opinion. Better art, more complex stories (I found ECs stories to be a little too formulaic).

Weapons are pretty easy to homebrew in this game. One of my players has a Greatbow, which deals 1d8 worth of damage. Heavy Flails require two hands but do 1d8 damage, etc.

Hmmm, good idea, but I think I'll save my Crawl submissions for something bigger. I'm pretty involved in this once game I'm running, which is making it hard to get these other projects done, but I have new patrons, classes, and mechanics in the works.

I have my players declare whether or not they are in primary or support roles. The one who is primary rolls a d20 normally.
