Re: Zocchi Dice Buyer's Guide

One of the ways that I know of to ink dice is to use a crayon, a friend of mine bought some and said that he rubbing a crayon on the numbers over and over again and it fill them in. I would try it myself to see if it works, but I too am one of the slacker's who hasn't bought Zocchi dice yet.

Re: How about a preview of a few pages?

Well, it's been done before to show a spell, but you'll have to invoke our patron, The Good Man of the Old School, and see if he's feeling generous. I'd like to take a look at the "militant orders" page or the bobugbubilz chart. Well, maybe just a peek.

Re: paper quality

With the quality of the printing and binding, the page count, the amount of art, the mechanics and the whole tone of the game, I'm even more convinced this will be an instant rpg classic (just as the name suggests). Classic artwork, classic printing and binding, classic game mechanics, classic role...

Re: Classic Modules

Hmmm good point, but I don't think that the awesome vibe DCC rpg gives will be too weird for the classic modules. It may seem that way on some modules, but most of them can be easily converted with little to no hassle in keeping the same story-line or creatures.

Re: How about a PDF preview of at least one spell?

Awesome, so if we have pre-ordered do we gain a possible luck bonus on another spell check to invoke patron for a second "Sneak Peek" ?
Or do we risk a corruption+patron taint+misfire from asking such a question?

Re: Preorders

Not until the end of April? By Crom, knowing my luck that means I probably won't get the book itself until June. Well hopefully that means that the Pdf will go out in April. :)

Re: What adventures will be available when core book release

It's going to be interesting to see the look on a players face when people pull out the book and say "This is the rule book, and 200 pages of this are spells".

Re: Classic Modules

I have considered doing The Temple of Elemental Evil, but have been trying to make it more "Appendix N"-ish. Also considered using the old cleric/wizard/fighter challenge modules as solo adventures, like using the cleric challenge as an adventure to off set disapproval and sacrifice or som...
