You know, gaming last night, I found something that ticks off players more then any trash talk ever:
Improved Sunder.
They just explode with madness when it hits them.

I wouldn't mind seeing a 4e-to-3e 'conversion guide'. I bet Goodman Games could make a good one ,too. Honestly I have not been able to play out the first run of DCCs. Especially now that I am looking at (literally) Castle Whiterock. I have DCCs to last. Even with summer (usually a higher gaming rate...

Is that for the RPG Metamorphosis? Did it get reprinted? Nope, it's an original story set in the Abyss. The full title of the trilogy is: Metamorphosis: From Dretch to Demon Lord. BD Ah, yes. That makes sense then. I thought you were reviving the RPG or something (hey, it's the Goodman Games boards...

Right now we're looking at a 4E-compatible version of Xcrawl. To the extent that 3E material is compatible with 4E, so will the prior Xcrawl material be compatible -- much of the world background and flavor will all be portable, as well as the mechanics insofar as 3E bridges to 4E. In world terms w...

Maybe it's about time for an update and reprint... Well, *I* would buy it (even though I'm thinking more & more about turning my Áereth campaign into a GURPS4e Dungeon Fantasy campaign...) GURPS Aereth. That would be so cool. I can't find any GURPS players in my area that have compatible schedu...

So Xcrawl is going to be compatible with 4e? Or is it going to be a stand alone game? What about old Xcrawl stuff?

I just hope that the new SRD is incomplete enough that people won't be able to just 'download and play'.
Much as I'm not a WotCphile nor a fan of 4e. Fair is fair, and ripping off my hobby is unfair.

Hmm, this'll jack a thread.

So, back to the subject:
Vive la 4e DCC!

DCC is a product for AD&D... eh? I'll continue to buy DCCs if I can use them with C&C without too much trouble. But obviously, if 4E's a radically new system, I can't see the point of buying something I'll have to rewrite entirely rather than easily convert. That's why I hope they keep putt...

I run into this issue from time to time where the written description doesn't fit the map. I've always went by the map and adjusted the written description.

Then there was that time running Cages of Delirium where I misread the scale and thought one square was five feet. Whoops.

I have to be careful with posting any idea's here since one of the guys reads these regularly. I'm sure he'll be taking notes for when he comes to do the modules. My players know better. I once told them I was going to run a module that had riddles in it by name. One of them went and looked up the ...

Exactly, I love having some of the bad guys running their mouths at the PCs. It livens up a game.

For example, I'm running my group through Red Hand of Doom . My characters are convinced that there must be a Fort Knox place nearby so that the hobgoblin army and its auxillaries get paid....that's not in the adventure, but it's pretty reasonable, so I'm writting such a place into the adventure no...

What would be the consequences of putting out conversion notes for CW into C&C? Like on these forums. Would that give too much info away? Would it be bad for GGames?
