Re: Upcoming rulebooks?
What I think we need more urgently is a book of assorted patrons and deities for use directly and as inspiration.

Re: I haven't been this excited about an RPG since 2005.
So this explains why DCC has sold out already on the three big online RPG stores in the UK; Leisure Games, Games Lore, and IGUK. They are probably the three largest sources of RPGs in the UK, so having the game sold out within two weeks is definitely a "sign". I really relate to coming bac...

Black dice with gold numbers. Awesome as you yanks would say. The only way to go with this game. We need someone with industry knowledge to step in here. Joseph?!

I seem to recall Joseph saying it was 1,000. However, I could be incorrect in my recall.

Re: The New Funky Dice Roller: The Crawler's Companion
Click and drag to roll the dice is a bit of a drag (pun intended) with a PC (especially a touchpad). Any chance one can also roll the dice by simply double clicking on them? Similarly, I get the bottom controls cut off with Firefox and no way to scroll down to them. Lastly, I rolled the d7 A LOT of ...

Regretably I have to agree completely with Ogerpuppy. I'm also a 40-something university lecturer and I see the same issues with the "younger generation" (no insult intended for any younger generation readers here). Sadly the same mind-set invades their education. e.g., my colleague was ru...

As an aside, Mongoose Publishing, located in the UK, get all their printing done in the USA because, I believe, it's cheaper than getting it done in Asia and a lot quicker.

2. GM screen
3. System summary crib sheet(s) for new players
4. DCC RPG conversion of Whiterock Castle & campaign world
5. Podcasts of actual play
1. and 5. will help greatly in encouraging the "fence sitters" to join us.

Re: Ordering and the PDF
It's too early for Edesvium to have picked up on DCC RPG and so Leisure Games won't mention it either (Edsevium is their main (only?) distributor). I made enquiries of Leisure Games some time ago and they confirmed that they could pre-order it (you were active on the thread where I posted this info....

Re: Clarity requested for Luck mechanic
Is this all down to semantics? By calling it "lucky" one instantly thinks of good luck, but of course the stat is also a bad luck indicator if it is low enough. Thus, the Warrior's "lucky weapon" is, in these instances, his "unlucky weapon" and because he's such an unlu...

Re: Ordering and the PDF
Thane, your best bet is to order from Leisure Games. They were prepared to get in the pre-order deal (I would have gone with them until Joseph offered the $4 shipping) and they often bundle the pdf with the physical book.

Stefan, I notice the drawings you have on offer at your Etsy store (http://www.etsy.com/shop/stefanpoag) have gone down (good for you as you must be selling them). I wonder if there will be any new ones going for sale soon? As a happy customer, I'd be very interested in what might be upcoming.

Sort of a typo. The hyperlink to "www.gamestation.net" is broken because it includes a hyphen as part of the word-wrap text formatting.

Re: Preorders
Delay is fine by me. I'm currently in a caravan in deepest darkest Dorset with very slow internet connection. If it came out now, it would be agony as I wouldn't be able to download it.
Thus, a Friday release, when I'm home and on 20mb/s internet, will be just dandy. Keep stomping those typos!
