Re: Supporting multiple systems within the DCC's
Not interested in 4E books at all. Im also a dead tree version collector.
If you were to print 3.5 or Pathfinder, Id be totally on board. I miss the Goodman stuff.

Re: Need DCC 51.5?
Just found out the old DCCs are available again at RPGnow. Bought 17.5 so far, though im still looking for a print copy for my collection.
Wanted to buy a Castle Whiterock in PDF to go with my print copy in case I run it (still hope to) but not for 53.99. Ouch.

Re: What are your top ten DCC modules?
My top 11 (sorry went over)... The first six are what I had planned as a Goodman AP, I was going to scale Legacy of the Savage Kings to levels 3-5 though. #28 Into the Wilds #17 Legacy of the Savage Kings #7 The Secret of Smuggler's Cove #40 The Devil in the Mists #12 The Blackguards Revenge #12.5 T...

Re: GoodmanGames BookClub - Sci Fi and Fantasy suggestions
The Malazan Book of the Fallen series by Steven Erikson are excellent. Be prepared for a long epic stay. The Obsidian Trilogy by Mercedes Lackey and James Mallory. I didnt expect much from the first book as I bought it on a whim. The series manage to hold my attention through all three books. These...

Re: !st DCC order just arrived today
Castle Whiterock is the best 3rd edition boxed set, imho. :) The 51.5 prequel is excellent too. Some other gems you may want to try and get your hands on before they are gone... #7 The Secret of Smuggler's Cove #13 Crypt of the Devil Lich (very ToH like) #16 Curse of the Emerald Cobra #26 The Scaly ...

Re: ENnies are up!
Also, despite my Paizo preferences, I did indeed vote for Castle Whiterock for Best Adventure over Pathfinder #1 "Burnt Offerings". I love Burnt Offerings (Im even prepping it now for a late September start), but Castle Whiterock is an entire campaign in one product as opposed to one modul...

Re: ENnies are up!
While it unlikely that Goodman can win in the Year of the Paizo, it does feel good to at least be able to cast my ballot. Ahh, Pathfinder RPG, the edition to switch to if you don't want to switch editions, lol. I'm kind of annoyed that Paizo are trying to act like the good guys, like starving artis...

Re: ENnies are up!
The nominating fans failed to give the second nomination. Unfortunately its as simple as that. Thats why I dont put much faith into the whole ENnies thing. Goodman Games seems to be very popular with my players, the forums I visit (necro, paizo, en, etc), my FLGS loves and sold a good amount of Good...

We are a 3.5 Core book only group with a few exceptions (some spells/feats in the PH2). I allow the XPH and Environmental books as well but no one has used them. Im currently playing in Expedition to Castle Ravenloft (set in the Forgotten Realms 3.5) and taking a small break from DM'ing. We may not ...

Re: Castle Whiterock question - how standalone is it?
Sunderstone, Goodman Games, from all I've seen, will be producing gaming supplements that are not edition specific. Mr. Goodman has also hinted at sometime relating to Castles & Crusades in 2009. Perhaps they will still be able to release a special 1st edition module occasionally as well. If yo...

There was an *awesome* AD&D game that TacoJon got to play in. I think James Mishler ran it, and Erol Otus was one of the players... //H Now im jealous. EO was my favorite artist as I was growing up with D&D so many years ago. Id be happy just meeting him. :) I havent been to a Gen Con since...

Re: Castle Whiterock question - how standalone is it?
Just adding that this is an awesome deal to take advantage of. Get it before it's gone. IMHO, Castle Whiterock is the best boxed set published for 3.5. A great self-contained campaign. I agree its good, but I think City of Brass is the best boxed set published for 3.5. Whiterock is second. Unless y...
