Now I must run it for them :)

Yeah, the dungeons actually make for very good fiction. CharlieRock, those are two of my favorite fantasy series, hands down. Conan and Thieves' World are also fantastic d20 games to boot. If you are interested in keeping track of my game, you can find it www.rpgforums.org. I've got registration tur...

With Jeff's help on the Xulmec, this is what I'm using for my campaign. I have no background nor do I know anything about linguistics, so this is pure fantasy. Major Languages of the Known Realms Northern Common (Criestine but also called Nordos) Southern Common (Khonsar, also known as Southron) Xul...

So, in your view, is there one pervasive common trade tongue that perpetuates throughout the Known Realms world?

Yeah I did notice a distinct lack of languages. I'm sure the community will come up with something.

As a stop-gap I've developed three forms of common. Northern Common, Southern Common and Xulmec Common Tongue.

He'd DM by proxy that way.

Hi Gailbraithe. That is from a flip-mat from www.steelsqwire.com

They are excellent additions to any game table that uses miniatures.

It was hectic. The Direbats and their goblin riders surprised the party, swooping into javeling range (javelin's with barbs mind you). They were after the child in the back of the wagon, as he was much easier to carry away. By the end of the fight a few of the party members had some nasty javelin wo...

I can post the map for download tomorrow. You can download the CC2 map viewer from Profantasy to view it.

The locations are just suggestions really. DCC's are generic enough that you could change their locations easily and you wouldn't have any effect whatsoever on actual gameplay.

Silverton is about 175 miles south of Archbridge across hilly terrain.

I thought about the same thing and ultimately decided on this. Most everyone knows that the current regalia are fakes. Most of them know that Zamuk the Swift stole them. Back then the Wulfrun family was still fairly savage and alot of people didn't like them. Some high ranking member of society back...

Yeah, I'm not worried at all about things that were not developed to their fullest extent. I'm enjoying the free reign that I have with this setting.

While I loved the Forgotten Realms, I never much felt like I had that.
