Re: What I'd like to see...

Another thing I would like to see published is two or three linked modules to make a mini campaign our at least have a reoccurring enemy After we've published the three Sunken City 0-level adventures this summer, our "M-Series" of adventures will begin this fall. They'll be a linked series of progr...

Re: 0-level Party Generator... in French!

Thanks larsdangly, I'm glad you've found the generator useful! (And I also enjoy running the thing to see what sort of perversely challenged characters it is capable of spitting out... )

Re: Purple Sorcerer Games: Crawler's Companion Kickstarter

You had me at t-shirt. //H :) As I was putting the 0-level champion mock-ups together my son wandered by my computer and commented "must... have... t-shirt..." I took it for a good sign. :) (He's actually quite the DCC evangelist... he told me last week he talked up the system to the sales dudes at...

Re: Purple Sorcerer Games: Crawler's Companion Kickstarter

I really like what you have done so far and look forward to seeing it as an actual app.. every one at my table uses iPhones and android devices and having a good app will mean it's a lot more likely that they will give the DCC RPG a proper chance. will kick starter backers get the chance to test th...

Re: Higher Level PC Generator for DCC?

You are a funny man Michael. ;) Brainstorm with me, what features would higher level characters need? Off the top of my head: Increasing hit points Languages Changing attack bonuses, crit die, crit tables, crit range, action dice and saves Clerics weapons would need to reflect their gods (random god...

Purple Sorcerer Games: Crawler's Companion Kickstarter

I promised that if I heard enough positive responses about the need for a tablet/mobile version of the Crawler's Companion, I'd whip together a Kickstarter to see if we could make it happen. Well, I did, so I have. :) While I wait for the account stuff to get setup (and since this is my first attemp...

Re: The New Funky Dice Roller: The Crawler's Companion

Screenshot and more details sent. Thanks Alex! I looks like it's just simply a height issue with smaller screens. For a number of esoteric reasons, I need to hard code in the height/width of the program, rather than have it expand and contract based on the user's window. For now I'll simply create ...

Re: The New Funky Dice Roller: The Crawler's Companion

Click and drag to roll the dice is a bit of a drag (pun intended) with a PC (especially a touchpad). Any chance one can also roll the dice by simply double clicking on them? Similarly, I get the bottom controls cut off with Firefox and no way to scroll down to them. Lastly, I rolled the d7 A LOT of...

0-level Party Generator... in French!

Some French fans of DCC contacted me about updating the character generator with a version in their language: they did some awesome work translating everything, including all the Birth Augurs and Occupations. (My French doesn't go much beyond Je m'appelle Jon...) After defeating some special French ...

Re: Purple Sorcerer Games: The Sunken City Starting Adventur

Maybe I'm late to the party, but ... ... did everyone else catch that the Sunken City comes with paper minis, battlemaps, pregens and reference sheets?! For $5? That's insane. I'm buying it to see if Mustertown can serve as the missing homebase / village for Sailors. So you'd start in Muster, run t...

Re: The New Funky Dice Roller: The Crawler's Companion

If enough of you show interest , I’ll create a Kickstarter (with all the fun things that would entail) to see if we can make it happen! (And I’d likely fold in some additional Android device testing/Amazon app store availability, etc as well)) Count me in. //H That's awesome Harley. I've created a ...

Firefox folks please try refreshing the page. (If it doesn't appear to change, try clearing your recent cache to make sure you have the latest version.) Thanks! It is working now. Re: Classic Modules

Just a note on using spellcasters and such from other mods, personally, I wouldn't convert that at all, but use them straight. DCC doesn't have NPCs casting from the full spell tables and I think that's a good call. Looking up tables for monster attacks gets old quick unless its a crit. So I'd just...

Re: Blogging About the DCC RPG

For some reason DCC is getting lots of "pretty, but too complex" comments on the web at the moment, I assume due to its thickness and heft. Nice to have tales of great games out there for folks to read! Yep, that's one bug needs to get squashed quick. :) I don't think I've ever ran a more accessibl...

Re: Classic Modules

I'd like to hear more about how your run of the G-Series! Did you start your PCs at level 0? Now, I'm a fan of challenging funnel adventures... but an "Against the Giants: designed for 260 0-level players" intro message might put folks off a bit. ;) Perhaps we could ramp up with some prequals start...

Re: Purple Sorcerer Games: The Sunken City Starting Adventur

It's making me modify my group's starting occupation table, and I may just have to work up a new humanoid class...
If you do get a new table worked up, be sure to send it along (using these instructions) so I can add it to the 0-level Party Generator. And thanks!
