Goodman Games

I have to say, that the Crystal hand write up in DCC #42 is exactly the way Legacy Items should have been. You spend exp on items and you get additional powers. So much simpler, makes alot more sense and alot less book keeping. Hats off to you guys for this module, truly one of your best.

*sigh* This is why buying books from used book stores sucks azz sometimes. I only got the 1 book, apparently I need the GM book.

Okay, I'm holding that red book right now and I can't seem to find the list. Maybe I am blind or something...

I apologise in advance if this has already been asked and answered. But I was wondering if there is a "Master List" of all the new gods introduced in DCC adventures. I own quite a few of them now, not all, but quite a few. And If no one has made a list, I can sit down and type something up.

LOL... Agreed! If I found this and was 1st level and playing a Fighter, I would take it. Because I would know that I have pretty much the only sword like this around.

Sadly, I can agree with you guy though after rereading the item as written. The phrase "Treat as an Exotic Weapon" does come across as more of a limitation than a Bonus. I read the damage on it being 2d4+1, and then whatever the + of the sword. At least thats how it seems alot of the other...

Not to disagree with you guys to strongly, but I hesitate to think that a game designer is actually going to intentionally put in a "flawed" weapon, that is not cursed per se. It would not be listed in the "treasure" part of the encounter, but more aptly in the "trap" p...

I can understand why its called a Proto-Longsword. But you don't add The Exotic Weapon proficiency feat to something to show that it's unwieldy. It has to have some sort of game effect, that makes it "better" than other weapons of it's type. The the point of the game effect of the requirem...

On page 41, it lists as treasure: Reaver, a Proto-Longsword that does 2d4+1 and is treated as an exotic Weapon. What exactly is a Proto-Longsword (PL) and why is it an exotic weapon? Does a PL do 2d4+1 normally and then you add the +1 for the weapon. Just curious. I love unique magic items, weapons ...
