Suggestions for a DCC.
First off let me say these boards are slow now that Spring is here. Okay to my question: The week of June 11th a buddy and I will be away on business learning about a new computer system the college bookstore is installing. He and I have to share a room and we'll be there from Sunday afternoon until...

DCC #23: The Sunken Ziggurat
I'm surprised no one has offered any praise or criticism for this module as of yet. I'm impressed. I'll grant you it didn't live up to my expectations, but that does not reflect upon the author of this adventure. I majored in ancent history and quite simply had unreal expectations concerning this mo...

I haven't been interested in purchasing a game world since I bought the original boxed set of the Forgotten Realms back in the mid-eighties. This is one I'd like to set along side my two World of Greyhawks (the original folio and the later boxed set). (Well, I have to confess the Wilderlands from Ne...

DCC #13 pre-gen tournament character question
I noticed the paladin's sword is intelligent. Did anyone offer to play the sword? That would have been kinda fun (I think). One may not have been able to roll the dice much, but he could have contributed to the thinking aspect. I remember having an intelligent sword owned by the fighter in a game be...

Dungeon Crawl Classics Sale
Just a quick public thank you for the sale. Not many publishers (at any level) do sales like this.
Now this isn't a plot to seperate even more money from me is it?

Hey yell0w_lantern, Welcome on board the Goodman Games forums. Your request may have already been fulfilled in Dungeon Crawl Classics #20: Shadows in Freeport. Since you asked, I'm always interested in the basics: orcs, goblinoids, giants, etc. Of course, I'm a sucker for these silly things and have...

DCC 21 & 22
These both look fun. My gang would have a blast with these. They are "full-frontal assault" kinda folks. The painting on the front of DCC 22 is a great representation of how their PCs would approach the module. I do have a question for the author, Christina Stiles. Why did you choose ogres...

DCC conversions to C&C
Just a quick thought. Perhaps Goodman Games could offer C&C conversions of the DCCs in a .pdf format for a couple of dollars each. This would be a huge shot in the arm for the Castles & Crusades game and open a new market for the DCCs. For the conversions, all you would need to do is convert...

You know, sometimes the best names are the simple ones. I think folks get so rapped up in coming up with an unsual or unheard of name for fantasy geography they forget about history. Mankind has often been very practical with the names they give geography. Just a few examples: The Dead Sea The Black...

Well the annoucement at gamingreport.com said it will be available at GenCon. That would put it's release in August. By the way, here's a thread of a fan's work at creating a world map for the DCCs. Perhaps the upcoming release and this thread have something in common. The report didn't say who the ...

DCC# 5.5 Seed of Evil
I've finished reading this addition to DCC 5. Well done. It makes the "new and improved" module even a better purchase and adds value to those who have the original since Mr. Goodman has been kind enough to make the .5 a free download. Nice and short. I like the overall "mood" as...

To be honest, the cards could have been done better. They are 'mini-cards' that have to have the backs pasted onto the fronts. I'm sure printing them as card stock would have added to the price of the adventure, but I don't know how much. Even having them at regular playing card size would have been...
