Re: America's Favorite Game Store

A Plus Comics & Collectibles 123 Southland Drive Lexington, KY 40503 (859) 276-1118 www.apluscomicsonline.com Why is this my favorite store?: Everytime I walk through the door, I'm treated like family and it's as if the staff is genuinely happy to see me. They are appreciative of my patronage. I...

Dragonlance

I gotta put my vote in for Dragonlance. I've been reading the books since the late 80's and gaming in the world since mid 90's. I'm obsessed really. I love the history, I love the struggle, I love the fact that the Gods know fear and have as many faults as the mortals. I was running a Morningstar ca...

YES MOST DEFINATELY

I would buy them in a heartbeat. I find painting miniatures a great way to relax. I'm a big fan of the old ralpartha style mini's, which I believe Iron Wind Metals has aquired the license to. I tend to buy individual minis as well as boxes both, so either way they are released would be fine by me.

Or, the guy who cannot separate in game knowledge from out of game knowledge and must think up long convoluted excuses as to why he is acting on something he should not know… Oh I hate these guys... There's one and sometimes two in my current group of 5 (including DM) This is just one of his annoyi...

Trust me. I'm not really one for being the greatest speller in the world myself. It wont keep me from buying it the instant I see it on my gaming store's shelves.

Blackmoor misspelling

On page 5 of the PDF, 182 of the book, of the preview for Blackmoor released on 8-1-2004, the word Helmet is misspelled. Were it anywhere but the title of the New Wondrous Item, it probably wouldn't be that noticeable.

Don't know if it'll make a difference, but I just ordered a copy of Morning star. I should have it sometime next week. Thanks for the info and I look forward to reading through the material on the yahoo group.

Thank you very much. I was also considering a summon spell to transfer them from one world to another. I've been reading the previews that are posted here as well as some reviews on other boards and am becoming more & more infatuated with the idea of running in this world.

I'm a big fan of The Writer's Digest Character Naming Sourcebook. It has about 20,000 names and their meanings, across about three dozen ethnic categories. If I want to create a fantasy character based on an entry in the book, I just use the tried-and-true method of swapping a vowel or two. :-) The...

Morningstar

I'm looking to start a campaign in a new world and I'm looking at Morningstar. I've been very impressed with the products I've seen so far, but I've not seen or I've overlooked comments about the setting on this forum. Those of you who use the setting: How well does it meld with an existing campaign...

Naming your Character

What method do you guys use to name your characters? Me personally, I like to open any book at random, put my finger on a word or if I happen to cover more than one word with the tip of my finger then I use two or three depending, then modify the letters some how. Example: My current character's nam...

Not too big of a thing, but...

It would be nice if the maps in the DCC's were set to 5 feet a square rather than 10. It's only a very minor thing as it's very easy to double the number of squares while drawing out maps for my players on an easel sized pad of graph paper. I also would have no objection to paying a bit more per mod...

I have been since 1984...

I have been and will always be a Dragonlance fan. I can't get enough of it, regardless of who owns the license, I will buy the product. I am, however, always on the lookout for supplemental information/adventures to run in the DL environment such as this company's DCC's series.

It looks good, but $11 for a 32 page module is really steep. This will have to recieve some REALLY good reviews before I consider buying it. After having ran one of these most excellent Adventures, I don't object in any way to the LOW LOW price of $11. I have 1-3 and #4 has been ordered through my ...
