I won't be buying 4e anything. DCC # 52 will be my last . . . <sigh>

Bits of praise . . .

I'm sure it's been said (and re-said), but you can't have too much of a good thing . . . I just received my copies of DCC # 39 (the DM screens) and the Saga of the Dragon Cult and WOW!!! Talk about value! To whoever thought of including the special attack rules (i.e. grappling) on the screens, that ...

Free copy of Races of Destiny

I found the Races series of books to be mildly disappointing, but that doesn't mean that another gamer might not like them. I will mail my copy of Races of Destiny to whoever wants it and will pay the shipping. Please e-mail me if you're interested.

I've tried any number of MMORPG's. The only one I really liked was Ultima Online - I played a master craftsman and hung out in town all day making things for people. You can't do that in most MMORPG's for two reasons. First, MMORPG's largely focus on killing monsters. Second, the thirteen year-olds ...

First of all, I love your DM'ing style. I wish I could find a DM like you instead of being the DM like you. (I never get to play . . . :( ) A kobold is a CR 1/4 (0.25) creature (MM page 161). Seven CR 1/4 creatures constitute an EL 2 encounter (DMG page 49). (Hopefully my count is correct - two with...

D&D versus C&C

I didn't mind upgradng to v.3.5 - it really was a good fix for some of the problems in v.3.0 that survived playtesting. However, the idea of upgrading AGAIN to 4E is a huge turn-off. For starters, v.3.5 works nicely (if it ain't broke, don't fix it). Also, the idea of D&D being dumbed down even ...

Birthright was excellent and I'm thrilled to see that there's another Harn fan on this forum, but for my all-time favorite . . .

Dark Sun! As a DM, you gotta love a setting that offers so many unexpected ways for the characters to kill themselves . . .

Saga sounds like a great deal! I'm curious, though - are the four modules identical to what you'd get if you purchased them separately (you know, covers, inserts, etc.) or are they pared down a bit to fit in the boxed set?

Any v3.5 / DCC gamers in the Tampa area?

I live in West Pasco, but good games are worth the drive. I also DM . . .

(And if there's a more appropriate place in the forums for this post, please point me in the right direction . . .)
