Re: DCC RPG PDF on a Kindle
Are you opening directly from Drivethrurpg/RPGNow? The Kindle hates those stores. What I used to do was open the file in a computer first and then I transfer it to the Kindle. That was the only way I managed to open DMR files from Drivethru on the Kindle Fire. Now that you can transfer your files to...

Re: super secret project/gary con
Don't get me wrong the changes sound awesome but there are some significant changes. At this point we will be only using chapters 2, 3, 4 and some of the appendixes as is (and there are elements on chapter 4 like turn unholy that won't be used at all), the rest will have some significant rules chan...

Re: super secret project/gary con
I'm a little bit confused. Is there going to be a box set and other products or everything will lead to a box set with everything released in it? Look for future releases further exploring the tales of Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser, the creations of world-renowned author Fritz Leiber, and eventually a ...

This is the module that was available at GaryCon: http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa223/ajtheronin/Mobile%20Uploads/image_5.jpg Based on the G+ group Ningauble is there as a patron with spell, corruption table, etc. I also read that there will be a box set and I think that will be a KS. I just ho...

Re: super secret project/gary con
I'm favoring some manner of science fantasy... Purple Planet already aimed at ersatz-Barsoom/ Sword and Planet... Mutant Crawl Classics aimed at PA... something in the Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon vein would have my pulse jumping. Flash Gordon would kick ass and it has old school pedigree (is not relat...

A French company has Elric's rights and they plan to release the game in English. Then again it can be the Eternal Champion (and a lot of planar stuff) instead of Elric and the Young Kingdoms.
Some 15-ish hours to go.

I think you are right. Calling it "Annual" would be a mistake. Perhaps the "DCC Companion vol 1" would be a better name.cjoepar wrote: Personally, since DCC was published in 2012 and it is now 2015, I'm starting to think that maybe an annual is not going to happen.

Re: super secret project/gary con
My first reaction was Mutant Crawl Classics...but Mr. Curtis will be the DM. I guess is something else.
I guess is time to save *more* gold pieces to spend on Goodman Games. Good thing my gaming ADD is limited to 3 companies...yes companies not games....

1. More deities with their own disapproval tables. 2. More patrons with their full spell spell lists and corruption. 3. Psionics 4. Some Artifacts (or a set of random tables to create Artifacts) 5. More creatures I was going to add a small Gazetteer about Punjar or Aereth but I think those will be t...

Re: Peril on the Purple Planet Kickstarter now LIVE!!!
I think I found an error Page 10 (page 18 on the PDF viewer).
In the very last line of that page it says: "Travel speeds in the mountains are reduced
to 1 mile per hour (1 hex per three hours traveled)."
I should be 1 hex per six hours traveled, right?

Re: Weapons do D6/2D6
I actually like this as a jumping off point. I do some weapon training and the one thing that intrigued me when I first started was how the damage from a weapon is more related to the way you move your body then the weapon itself. Want to cut bamboo with a katana. You better strike correctly or it'...

How about this?
When using a melee or ranged weapon each class do the following damage plus applicable modifiers:
Warriors and Dwarves: 1d8
Halfling, Theives, Clerics and Elves: 1d6
Wizards and 0-Level Characters: 1d4

I pledged on the tier with special cover and signature but I think I will also order a normal cover since it will look strange next to the other modules.
Glad it already funded. Hopefully it will break a bunch of stretch goals.

Re: Metamorphosis Alpha - DCC?
It would be awesome but considering there was a 5th edition KS not long* ago I don't think it would be possible.
Of course if they make the modules dual-stated I wouldn't complain at all.
Edit: *and by "not long ago" I mean 2 years ago that still haven't been fulfilled.

P. 416 very last sentence should say "40 gnolls" instead of "40 goblins". This is a 3rd printing copy.
