Re: 3rd printing of DCC RPG core book
The only differences I noticed between my 2nd printing and 3rd printing are mostly related to changes of the production and presentation of the physical book, not so much content. Each page is printed in dark ink; there are no pale ink pages at all. Also, the binding is smythe-sewn and appears to be...

Re: Tomb of Horrors DCC @ October Zombie Gam3day! San Diego,
First of all, thanks to Ron , Derek , Jason , and Ian and Sean for showing up! Except for the slow beginning, the game went extra smooth and quickly. I gotta pat myself on the back for that one. There was a lot of improvisation and dissapointment when my favorite traps in the dungeon were bypassed o...

Re: San Diego, CA: DCC WOrld Tour @ Game Empire
Three out of four games took off! The players had some pretty heroic moments but two stick out especially. SPOILERS!!! In Tower Out of Time , as the building is destroyed, the players were forced to jump out the sides of the building. The warrior, played by Robert of the San Diego OSR meetup group s...

Re: Dice: generating "Zocchi results" using "normal" polyhed
I've noticed some mentions of various online utilities; Purple Sorceror is an obvious candidate. I LOVE the PS stuff - it actually got me to buy DCC. I hear great things about Purple Sorcerer's app. But I'm kind of luddite when it comes to dice. It's not the same just tapping a graphic or a button....

Ha ha, well I got the word "chits" from the old Ani-Mayhem games. I had a ton of cards (okay, a few hundred) but nobody else in my town did. I don't even know if the game is any functhulhudarren wrote:Wow, chits. It's like I'm playing Squad Leader again.

Lots of great ideas. I only have the first core book and do want another copy but because there are so many already and I don't want to pay for just a box, it would have to be damn amazing for me to splurge on it (these hobby isn't cheap!) It would have to have exclusive cover art and exclusive slip...

No, is it a comic? Oh, excuse me, "Graphic novel" :P It's both! It's really funny, complex, and a hell of a good read. It's more than just funny animals, there's a lot of adult (not just sex and violence but also dramatic themes that are part of the characters and plot) stuff for the grow...

Re: Tales from the Road: My Road Crew experience thus far
Finished running three games at this year's San Diego Gam3rcon! All games and players were exceptional and people really were interested in trying a more "old school, simplified, deadlier" version of D&D's modern iterations. The biggest reactions at the table were at the Wizard's misca...

Also, I made these for people like me who don't have minis but still want to represent their PCs on a hex map. there are 88 chits per sheet and if you need more, print a sheet on different colored paper. The colors will be different enough that they can be told apart from each other. Tell your playe...

Re: Feedack?
Just realized one thing they put me in mind of: Boardgames. RPG art can be all over the map, but is generally more gritty in one way or another -- but there are lots of boardgames that might involve 'creatures' with 'weapons' but that are rendered in a softer, more 'family-friendly' manner. That's ...

With the World Tour http://www.goodman-games.com/worldtour.html getting underway, it would be great to see some table tents for public play that would include the player's name, character's name, and maybe an awesome looking DCCRPG logo. Rick made some ultra light tents that work great but I went a...
