Somewhat Savage Worlds style. We draw from a deck of playing cards. Init +1 draws two cards and uses the higher of the two. Init -1 draws two cards and uses the lower of the two. They can have specific skills upgraded from an untrained d10 to a d12(Maybe up to a d16) if they manage to find a master in a a specific trade.
