I think Elmore pretty much redefined the Halfling in my books

I printed out about 5 sheets of Purple Sorceror pregens then had each player pick a whole sheet, no cutting allowed!

I always just take this spell out, its pretty dumb to make a wizard not be able to ready magic at will, its like a sharpen sword skill for a fighter.

I wish you could get it on amazon.ca! haha My FLGS is terrible with rpgs, they are more of a wargaming store. When the 2nd printing comes out I'll probably order it from Le'Valet in Montreal, unless I goto the Kinetik Festival next year and get it in person

plus typos ARE very oldschool remember they didn't have spell check in the 80s and this is DCC.

I don't quite get it, so are you making the book in different lengths? Since at $20 you get bonus goals 2&3 and at $25 you get 2-4, the only difference between the two is the extra pages?

Their HP seem way too low! A stupid bugbear has 4 HD. My 1st level party of 5 took down a 4 HD Ogre without being hit in 2 rounds. (they were a bit lucky though). Gave out a +1 to luck to a player that rolled back to back crits. The ability scores vs bonus are far enough appart that a +1 to an ability score doesn't often raise a bonus.

D20 with Int+Luck bonuses vs DC 10 (or more if its a setup ambush)? On one hand I agree you can can come up with a custom rule, but on the other it is a RULE book.

Also if you wanted magic items to be way more rare and powerful than masterwork, or weapons of quality. You could give varying degrees of quality as simple +'s and magic items could be +dice. So a above average sword could be +1 to hit and damage, while a low level magic item would be +1 dice to hit...
