Re: UPDATED! Prison of the Squid Sorcerer -- 8 days left!
Giving Paul's book a bump here. I've done 7 Maps for it (just finished today) and contributed one of the Adventures . I've read the manuscript a bunch in the last month. I just wanted to say this is going to be great book...all the adventures are cool, but several are spectacular. The book has a rea...

Re: "The Visitants" - a level 1 DCC RPG adventure
I like this a lot, too, the vibe and the atmosphere is pretty neat. But man, your spelling (or typing) sucks bad. :-) If you polished up your grammar and spelling, you could probably sell a small collection of these (like, 5 to a book?). Of course, you could also recruit an editor. I'll do it for a...

Re: Old Dudes Play Doom!
Part 4 , the finale is posted its was a wild ride, alot of close calls but in the end only 2 PC's died, and only one at fangs of the Hound. Two clerics on board was absolutely key to the survival rate. Again, props and a thank you to Harley for his great work. The group is going dark for probably 3...

The 13th Skull / The Balance Blade
My 13th Skull showed up today, another great read..hope to eventually get to run it. I like Mr. Goodmans , hardcore Appendix N take, that things in the end, rarely have a happy ending. Which leads me to "The Balance Blade". while I love the hardcore narrative aspects of this short adventur...

Re: Doom related advice,
I love reading all the interesting takes on this portion of the game. about 3/4 of way thru ourselves we just finished the Tomb portion ( and I just finished writing it up ) In our game, the animosity with Jarl is high right from the beginning, as they rescued Morgan Halverson and marched her back i...

Re: Old Dudes Play Doom!
Thanks guys, glad you are enjoying them.
As an aside I pulled out a little Appendix N side bar
I was going to add to part 3, which will be quite long enough as is, so I posted this separately
hopefully you'll get a kick out of it.

Thanks Colin, apologies for missing this yikes, I hate when the answer is a clearly a RTFM. I cant believe I overlooked the 28+ result on Patron Bond Our Wizard in question Bond result was less. Given the Invoke Patron "per Judge" rulings use of these spell could easily be an "answer ...

Sorry if somehow I missed this in the Rulebook. but how is access to Patron Spells gained. Automatic based on successful bond with Patron? do the Patron Spells count against number of known spells? Re: Sailors of the Starless TPK...
I had 6 survive of 17. If you level up on reaching 10xp your players will level before the final and hardest encounter. (We did not level up until the end and still had 6 survivors) I have some very detail play reports. (See link in my sig) it will give you a good Idea where the TPKs can take place.
