Hey All,
So while level 5, Warriors get 2 attacks per round
1st attack is with a d20 (crits on 18,19,20).
The second attack is with a D14 (BUT WHAT IS THE CRIT RANGE)??
I'm assuming a nat 14 still crits ?

For the new ones you can mark some of em in yourself on the printouts. Others you can just have ready for wherever the group happe...

Badass idea!
Re:choices....
I realize art is subjective, but i teach creature design and
H then G are the only ones I'd actually buy and wear.
Their personalities pop.
Especially H.
When are they due to be made?

Re: So who here uses mini's in their DCC game?
I use em only for battles - I think they are essential for visualizing combat correctly. As one of my first DMs said "figures don't lie" It clears up any arguing of "I was over there by the door!" and keeping track of whos attacking who. Especially with larger numbers. Only drawb...

Re: House Rules We Love
I have a few... Because of the straight rolling of stats i allow a one time stat adjustment for any level 1 characters who survive the funnel xping from level 0 to 1. This simulates the massive jump from level 0 to level 1. I don't allow this jump mid-adventure or in a dungeon. They have to travel t...

Re: House rules on race size and corresponding armor...
yes that clears up at least 2 sizes of armor in his vision.
Humans vs Demihumans
But does Demihuman size fit all elf/dwarf/halfling,
elf/dwarf seperate than halfling, or one for each race?
Mainly I'm interested in how other solve this or if they just
ignore it completely.

Hey Yall, (prefacing this with yes, yes "fear no rule") Would love an "official answer" in terms of the DCC world Goodman created...I'd love to know his vision / protocol on this: Size of races and their equipment.... Seems like every game has a different vision of what is small/...

Re: Levelling Up
Jumping from level 0 to 1 is a huge life changing moment, something that shouldn't be rushed (even for just the logistics of the player being able to really think about each class before choosing) I think there should be at least a couple of days of study/reflection on the change (especially for mag...

I hear you on the spellburn, but would

Hey All,
Wanted to pick 'yalls brains on the feasibility of this:
Say a thief finds/purchases a find familiar scroll and passes his spell check.
Does he then have a familiar just like a wizard would?

Re: From level 0 to level 1: more than one PC per player?
I looooove the funnel system, of having to roll up peons and pray one survives. But once players have made it past level o....I make them pick one to polish and take to level 1. They can keep any other level os that survived in their "roster" - somewhere back in town. Should their level 1 ...

Re: Thieves'/Halflings Luck and (again!) Mighty Deeds of Arm
Yea its pretty clear that luck is only "restored" For non theives and halflings the only way to get their luck restored is through things on page 361. So end of the adventure luck refreshes don't add any extra max luck for anyone...not even halflings/theives, I think its just a way of lett...

DCC Level equivalent to DCC 3ed modules....
Ok, so I get that in the DCC style/xp breakdowns very few players ever make it past 5th level... But how do we estimate/translate recommended levels in modules (such as 3rd edition modules DCC has on their website? (such as #18: Citadel of the Demon Prince An Adventure for Character Levels 12-13) Wh...

Racial perks for level 0?
So I read the core book today, and wonder what you guys think.... Some traits such as the dwarves ability for infravision / smelling gold is a racial skill not a class. (Though this system treats them one in the same) I'm wondering if those class/races should have their start racial skills even at l...
