Re: Starting Equipment

MadEd’s Equipment Package Rules The creation of a character for the Etherscope RPG (and, for that matter, any RPG) can be time-consuming—particularly purchasing starting equipment. The equipment packages have been created as a means to speed up character creation. These rules are based upon the equi...

Re: Starting Equipment

Hi Deraj,

MadEd made a great alternative starting gear list
Lets see if I can find it fast, or ask him to give me a copy of it

Ok cannot find it so will msg him to see if he has it still

I never finished my own, or if all else fails, I shall recreate one

A shame about this
This was the only 4E product I have purchased, and the only product I planned to purchase, because it came from Goodman Games.

Thanks for producing 3 issues.

My thinking is much more horror or a pseudo-cyberpunk feeling to it. I know Ed has a more Tech/Scope focus that suits his writing style, along with Great Game motifs

Re: Is Etherscope Dead?

Hi Arcanus I need to find those notes and post them someplace for people to get at. My view of Etherscope America is heavily influenced by the stories written by Ed Dorner Jr (MadEd on here) with huge arcologies, etc. I am considering putting all the fan material I have made to date into a single PD...

Re: A magazine for Age of Cthulhu

Thanks Marv Norm does the layout. He has a template set up, slight changes to it for Issue 6 making it a little nicer in some respects. I think he uses an Adobe product. I have to check it out which one. Well we are the ones redoing Dark Conspiracy 3rd Edition, so yes we are all fans there. Also Nor...

Re: A magazine for Age of Cthulhu

Protodimension Magazine is Horror gaming oriented. Issue 6 was fairly fiction heavy compared to Issue 5 that had 70 some pages of just WOD Setting Detail in it, in example. Issue 5 also had an article and a scenario for Cold City. Previous issues have had a Gumshoe adventure, COC adventures, more fi...

I liked that suggestion of a Command & Conquer sort of game. Or like Rise of Legends, a nice RTS inspired RPG or similar.

Otherwise I want to know what the status of Etherscope is personally?
