Re: been out of the loop...have a ?
This is a baffling decision. I still plan on purchasing the book as a PDF, but why not sale it on amazon? Care to enlighten a confused gamer?

How about a date when it will go on-sale at DriveThruRPG?Harley Stroh wrote:Welcome to the forums, GrayP!
There's no single street date. Too much depends on the chain of distribution:

Re: The Next Point of Business
So when are the books being shipped? Per the boss: The pre-order shipments should leave the printer middle of next week -- probably by Tuesday or Wednesday. The printer is in the midwest... http://www.goodman-games.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=66590#p66590 "Next week" = This week. As in the...

Re: Spells, how many?
Learning Spells From the DCC Beta Rules, page 100 Determining spells at a new level: A wizard knows spells as indicated on table 1-12: Wizard. At each level, the wizard chooses the level of spell he wishes to learn, as limited by the Max Spell Level for his wizard level, and randomly determines whic...

Re: 0 lvl to lvl 1 Transition/Options - Thoughts?
Wizard is glaring but a clever GM can make it work. They state that they've been training for years to grasp the basics of magic. How does that work with a Farmer. Some options: Going from 0 to 1 might take several years. The patron might take the wizard to an extraplanar space where time flows diff...

Re: Percentage Thief Skills
Lots of good thoughts in this thread 1. I'm in favor of a d20 roll + modifiers instead of a % roll. 2. I really like the Occupation + Class for skills. A Cleric would know something about religion where a farmer wouldn't. 3. There's no reason to have Move Silently and Hide in Shadows. These are both...

Re: 1st Level Wizards
Yeah, I don't think the 0 level to 1st level wizard / elf is a huge problem. It's just an interesting quirk that didn't work fit well with the 0 level funnel. The bargaining with powers is really interesting and could easily cover the years of training. When you get these powers messing with mortals...

Wizards Training Time
Odd, the boards ate my last post :D Edit - Not Odd, I didn't realize that all post had to be approved. Sorry for the double post on the same topic. At 1st level a wizard determines 4 spells that he knows, representing years of study and practice. You have a 0-level character that goes on an adventur...

1st Level Wizards
I posted this on Enworld, but thought I'd re-post it here for feedback -- At 1st level a wizard determines 4 spells that he knows, representing years of study and practice. You have a 0-level character that goes on an adventure. Great, they survive and become a 1st level Wizard. Is the gap between 0...
