As the title says, I am seeking a copy of the 2nd printing of DCC #1 Idylls of the Rat King. The one with the William McAusland cover of the helmeted knight in chainmail about to hit a rat with his sword.

Since I'm planning to buy all of the DCC PDFs, that's just too much $$ to not wait for a sale. Ah well, December is only 11 months away!

I remember last month seeing at least one store running specials on Dungeon Crawl Classics PDFs. I can't seem to find anyone having a sale now. Does anyone know where I can get these cheaper than 'standard' price? If I could find a cheaper place, I'd look at getting all of them.

I have everything Midnight Syndicate has done, and I can't recommend it highly enough! Every CD is awesome. I don't just use them for gaming, I use them every single evening as background music around the house.

Still nothing as of today's mail, so I sent an email to info@goodman-games.com.
I really hope my order hasn't disappeared, since these things are selling in the $50-$100 range now.

I'd gladly buy extra copies of the modules, regardless of how badly damaged they are. I've frequently bought doubles of DCC modules so that I could run one (i.e. highlight stuff and write all over it) and one to keep in mint condition for collecting. Heck, with Crypt of the Devil Lich I even bought ...

Any word if any of them will be updated/enhanced like #5 was? Or will they be exactly the same except for the words '2nd Printing' in the legalese?

Another 'issue' I just thought of - what about reprints? If someone already owns DCC #8, and you do a 2nd printing of #8, will the subscriber automatically get it?
Some collector types will want that 2nd printing, and other non-collectors will not.
How will it work as of now?

I'm mailing in my subscription form today! My nearest dealer is nearly an hour away, so this will be very nice to be sure I get new mods in a timely manner. I must say though, that the inclusion of the special edition modules, while a FANTASTIC idea, makes me wonder if people would be subscribing to...

I always thought I was alone in this gripe.

I would LOVE if they would include ALL special edition modules in that service. I'd even pay a premium price on the special mods for the convenience. I can't wait to hear them answer the special edition question!

Please note that I specified in my post that I was only talking about 'regular' DCCs. DCC 3.5 may have been for D&D 3.0. The back of the module doesn't specify D&D 3.5. All other 'special edition' modules are actually D&D 3.5. It's only The Haunted Lighthouse (DCC 3.5) I'm not sure of. T...

DCC #1 & 2 first printings are the only 2 regular DCC's produced for D&D 3.0.
From DCC #3 on up, they were all printed for version 3.5, so you are clear to start your buying spree!

There is nothing on The Acaeum regarding these modules really. The occasional post about seeing one of the true rares up on eBay, with some speculation, but nothing real. I ordered 3 of them off the bat, but I'm thinking of picking up a dozen more. A few years from now I could see a lot of people finding out about this module and wanting one.
Anyone else think so?
