Re: Punjar: The Tarnished jewel
I'm using Punjar for my campaign as well and we're having a blast. The next session will bring about the end of Sellswords. I gotta say, this has been the most fun I've had with D&D in years.

Re: Level Up
Now that's just wrong. When is the next issue coming out?Blackdirge wrote: As for next issue, I'll utter only this cryptic phrase:
Cthulhu Crawl Classics
Make of that what you will.

Re: M1: Dragora's Dungeon Errata
Surprisingly my DM said no to my suggestion of the spear house rule. In fact he said no to all house rules and ban them. I guess we are going to play by the book for 4E. I'm surprised because in the past he has always been open to suggestions. I guess I'll have to ditch my clunky spear and bye some...

Re: M1: Dragora's Dungeon Errata
I think I'm going to suggest a house rule to my DM to allow the spear to be thrown. It just doesn't seem right not to be able to throw a spear. Pretty much what I do. If a player wants to throw away his only weapon, I'm ok with that. :D The main difference, I imagine, is design. Javelins are smalle...

Re: Level Up
Just wanted to say nice job on Issue 1 of Level Up! I just received it in the mail today and while I haven't read it cover to cover yet, the things I did read I really enjoyed. A Picture Tells 1,000 Words is a terrific idea. I think we've all done that with a picture at some point. The mag is jam-pa...

Re: From Here to There
This looks like a great product! :D Hey, Count--welcome to the boards. I'm already a big fan of you because 1) of the Gibson reference, and 2) I'm in Rochester, only a little ways away. Enjoy! Right on, thanks. As the years go by my name is becoming more and more obscure. I think I dig it. :) I'm j...

Re: From Here to There
I think I know where you're coming from on this one, Treebore. Fun game, btw. So why is M&M fun and D&D4 less ? If it were any other game it would just exist happily in the marketplace, but since its D&D there are certain tropes that people come to expect, and they're not there anymore....

Re: interactive punjar map
That Punjar map is awesome. Things like this are the true evolution of RPGs: web-enhanced, not web-based.

Re: Memories
We were playing in a campaign that ran for about 8 months. We traveled all over the globe and battled all kinds of cultists and horrible entities. Our mental health wasn't too bad and we were pretty scrappy in a fight. The campaign events reached their climax on R'lyeh (I'll skip the details). The S...

A Fistful of Zinjas
I saw this on the Coming Soon page and was curious if there was a release date for it?
