I have to agree with several other posters here, I don't mind the special dice but I do mind the additional expense. Same with the book being hardcover, an expense passed on to me that I don't care about. $30 for a set of dice, probably more for the book, then to add that I'll need to do maintenance...

Whatever happened to Xcrawl 4th edition? I just love the setting and the modules and would like to see a 4th edition version or some more premade crawls.

read the skill Use Magic Device, it specifically says that you must have the spell in you class list in order to use the wand. Using the wand is a standard action that does not provoke an attack of oppututinity. Cure light wands heal for 1d8 +1 and come with 50 charges. Unless you pay to have a wand...
