Re: Limited edition/availabilty

Joseph's reply still doesn't address the problem overseas buyers have of obtaining the pre-order bonus (Well of the Worm). It's unclear if the request form for retailers to honour this promotion extends to the international market, and if it does, it's unlikely all retailers would be willing, making...

Re: Limited Edition Metal Covers!

I've now discovered the shipping charges. Going by the price of the foil edition, shipping should be $20. However, if Leisure Games will get copies, I'll wait to pick mine up from there.

Re: Limited Edition Metal Covers!

Thanks Joseph. The problem is, if it is subsequently calculated that the postage is something like $40, then I don't want to order (I'll wait until it appears at Leisure Games).

Re: Limited Edition Metal Covers!

I'd like to buy a copy of Dungeon Alphabet (foil cover), but I'm not sure how postage works. It tells me it's $4, but I'm sure that's too cheap for postage to the UK. Is there a link to the international postage rates (cringe, I hope it's not $40)? Or does it somehow sort out the postage after your ...

Re: Patrons supplement Kickstarter live!

I'm really put off by the amount of typos in your post & on your Indiegogo page. Sloppy editing is a major no-no for me & I find the amount of mistakes in the pitch text to be a major stumbling block towards contributing. Will this book be thoroughly edited & proofread? +d30. The same t...

Frome, Somerset, UK

Beyond all hope, should there be people in Frome or environs (that's pronounced Froom, by the way) that I don't already know about.

Thur. evening gaming is on offer; DCC RPG, ACKS, Mongoose Traveller, Trail of Cthulhu, Call of Cthulhu, Savage Worlds, Space 1889, etc.

Re: Introductions Thread - Join the Band!

I find myself having coffee in front of the computer with nothing to do, so time to introduce myself. I stared roleplaying back in 1978 or perhaps 1979. I'm not exactly sure, but can date it to the period between the release of Judges Guild's Ready Ref Sheets and 1e AD&D. Someone's older brother...

Re: Stomp the typo / Errata & FAQ

You could always view this rule in the same vein as Wales in the UK. Wales is a bilingual country. The road signs are given in both English and Welsh. However, many people (possibly the majority) who were born and bred in Wales, can not speak Welsh. Thus, one could envisage a similar elven culture t...

Re: European stockists of new DCC RPG adventures

IgUK put the Emerald Enchanter up on their web page on Friday. It sold out buy afternoon Saturday (I know as I bought the last copy). DCC's turning out to be very popular in the UK. As it is in the game, it's the quick or the dead when it comes to buying.

Re: European stockists of new DCC RPG adventures

IgUK have a few copies of the modules in. They sent me my already ordered People of the Pit and I nabbed one of the three copies (count the, THREE) of Sailors on the Starless Sea. Still no copies of the rulebook however.

Re: European stockists of new DCC RPG adventures

I'm sure this will be just a hiccup in the DCC story. Now that the distributors and retail sellers have seen the demand, I expect a healthy supply in the future. Roll on second printing!

Re: Stomp the typo / Errata & FAQ

I also hate typos in books. That's why I 'gladly' wait for corrected versions to be printed (I've waited for the 2.2 version of OSRIC (just released), I'll wait until next year for the second printing of Adventurer, Conqueror, King, and I'll gladly buy the second printing of DCC). Correcting mistake...

I concur. I haven't run a published module for my friends for ages because so many of them are just awful, but everything about "Sailors on the Starless Sea" is just great. The maps, the encounters, the background... I love it all. My players are really enjoying it, even if we've lost mor...

Congratulations on an instant success. Also, congratulations on incorporating errata in a second printing and not waiting, like many companies, until a second edition. Very professional.

A 3pp book of patrons is in the works. I have just agreed to fully develop 16 of them. That is fantastic news. I really like your deity write-up on these forums and your actual play on the Unseen Servant forums. One guaranteed purchase here. Who are you publishing through? If the Patron entries wer...

Re: will there be a Book of Patrons?

But a collection of patrons wouldn't be rules addition; It would be useful fluff (as adventures technically are). Perhaps patrons could be added to adventure modules where possible and consistent with the already stated design goals which are to add new and unique monsters via modules

Same here. The problem is, they are all out of stock at the moment except for The People of the Pit. Dcc is proving to be very popular in the UK. In the UK I use all those already mentioned but also: http://www.gameslore.com They are cheap and reliable. Packing is not always the best, so for heavy i...
