Don't forget that you have to have the spell on your spell list in order to use a wand and that wands don't increase in caster level (unless custom made, which is easy to ban). So the wand may have 50 charges of 1d8+1, but it is always 1d8+1, whereas a 4th level cleric is doing 1d8+4, and has acces...

May be Coming in a bit late but I'd love to play test Xcrawl been in love with it since i first found it (incidentallly found this thread gearing up to run a new xcrawl campaign)
