I beg to differ. I do think its important to address balance up front. By saying that you want the DM to adjudicate this, you're make a horrifically huge leap of faith on many levels. I'm liking what I'm hearing here. I want to put 10 more cents in... I'd like an option to weaken magic. Save or Lose is not what the game is supposed to be about.
