An issue ragarding saving throws... the mech`s saves are added to the pilot`s ones? For exemple, a gargantuan clockwoek mech have a fortitude save of -2 and a reflexes save of +2. Do these modifiers stack with those of the pilot? or are indipendent saves? If are indipendent how do you save from disi...

Hi! I`m happy to be back to this board after all this time! I and my group`s master, after several game section where I was unable to use my mech for lack of space (in a dungeon, there is no room for a mech!) ahve developed a feat that allow the players to miniaturise mechs...at least Epic level cha...

That`s because you have used a standard level mech against an epic level, super-hero style character! Epic level charachters need epic level mech! Something like the monster you find in the epic level book... "My level 60 anklebiter jumps on an epic level mech" "Dice rollings..."...

A question about Steam powers and PU usage. In the DragonMech base manual, the "preambulatoy orc" mech have a huge ballista (PU 4) with an automator and an animator...but in it's payload usage table these items aren't present! That automator will use 2 PU...or steam powers dosen't use PU? ...

Eh Eh I know the size increment rule!
My little gnome will only use steam cannons with boiler built with the "integrated parts" thing!

But his mech can use bigger boilers!

Thanks for the help people! So the amplifer\steam cannon thing is not so clear..all is about deciding if kinetic energy is or not a form of energy! In the amplifier entry it is said that any for of energy can be used, but is still not very clear. I think that an aplifier on a steam cannon will work ...
