Wow. What an eerie response  Specifically, I'm referring to the Lost City which serves as the prison/demesne/bachelor pad of the Tattered King, who is served by the Dancers of said Lost City. The city that goes nameless in the text, but bears a striking resemblance to Carcosa  In my campa...

So, just where is The Lost City?

Yeah, I know. It's lost. Good one. I'm not really looking for a canonical answer here (although I would be all ears if you Malladin's Gate guys felt like spilling). Basically, I'm just wondering if anyone has any theories of their own. My first thought was that its somewhere in Etherspace, but in Se...

Cinnamon Rose

Any chance the adventure Cinnamon Rose will be available as a separate download/module? I'm really looking forward to it, but hate the thought of paying $25 for a book I already have in hardback.

King John Ball is on page 99, mentioned in the Adventure Hooks under Industry. I don't know if you've covered this or not, but with all the occult goings-on (going-ons?), it might be helpful to cover solstice/equinox dates as well as moon phases. Although there's no mention of a specific holiday, th...

Found a reference to the annual King John Ball in The Great Metropolis. Not sure if it's calendar worthy or not...

I don't really have anything helpful to contribute, but this sounds like a great idea!

Nah, not frustrating in the least. But now I'm *really* intrigued! Some of my current players are fans of Chambers and Lovecraft, so they're naturally interested in the Tattered King and Lost City stuff. I'm working a plotline involving them into our campaign (and tying it all to the Priory of Sion ...

I love the idea of the primers, especially if they can be written to describe the Etherscope world while avoiding mention of any specific game mechanics. One thing that I think would be helpful would be a compiled list of mysteries/loose ends that have been mentioned in the source books: What is the...

Okay, that makes sense. I can see "cinema" being totally marginalized by its failure to live up to the standards of immersive entertainment. However, I can still see it having some value as a means of historical record. A reel of film makes a great MacGuffin, and just finding a projector t...

Movies and video in the Etherscope world.

Obviously the technology exists to record sound and for taking pictures, but I haven't really seen anything in the rulebooks about movies or video (other than a throwaway line somewhere about the film industry, with regards to lost jungles in Antartica). I'm assuming the ability to create and animat...
