Pretty meaty and looks rather tough. I have my next (post AoW) campaign worked out already, but I think the one after should a big Castle Whiterock crawl.

I ran it last year as a side quest in my Shackled City campaign. It took 5 or 6 weeks of 4 hour sessions to complete from start to finish. So roughly 24 hours give or take.

Oh well. There goes my hope that GG would be the light in the dark and continuing with 3.5 products. My wallet will be happy though. Please don't take that as a dig at GG or anything, but there are those of us who don't and won't want to convert to 4E. While GG is a relatively small company, I real...

I only buy full print versions. I don't use the computer at the games table, and it costs more in the long run to print it myself. I'd rather have someone else do it and pay them for it. Plus a proper print copy looks better on the games shelf.

I ran it perfectly well as a 1st level module. I've never quite liked the idea of 0-level characters.

i don't want D&D to flop, but I fear that WotC are taking the game in the wrong direction. From everything I have read, both on the WotC and ENWorld forums, they are essentially removing the aspects that make D&D D&D . That IMO is a seriosuly bad move. Sacred cows are sacred cows for a r...

I'm using citadel paints, and their black undercoat spray. I prefer a darker tone for figures over lighter.

A question for those paint mini's

I am awful at painting mini's. I don't have a steady hand and I'm not patient enough really. What I need to know is how to paint clothing like hoods and cloaks so that they look good rather than being plain colour.

Thanks for any advice.

One of the ones that surprised me, was Crypt of the Devil Lich. Playing the 4 hour weekly sessions, it still took 6 sessions to complete. I found myself asking how this was playable as a tournament competition with a time frame that long?

My group meets every Sunday 7pm - 11pm, and I find that the average DCC takes 3-4 sessions. Even "Heroes are Made, Not Born" took 3 sessions from start to finish. Thats about right IMO.

While I'm not usually a naysayer, I really hope that we don't see a 4th edition for at least another 4 or 5 years. The current edition is still more than suitable (and I know that when the time comes I will stick with 3.5). We've barely had 3.X and despite the fanboys, I think that a 4th ed anytime ...

I use the standard D&D gods with a few extra homebrewed ones and a couple skanked from other settings (FR and Scarred Lands mainly).
