Re: Oldschool maps
Thank you. I thought that it's possible to post image-url's on this forum, but it isn't (or at least I can't figure out how it works). Changed the sig...

Oldschool maps
Hi all,
I just would like to announce that I have started my own website, on which you can find examples of the maps that I'm doing. Just click on the link in my sig and look around.

Re: Faux cover art
Whoa, that looks very cool! A wonderful homage to the old Monster Manual illustration that accompanies the treasure tables.

Re: Feudal Japan Map Objects Project
Awesome maps, and great-looking symbols! I really like that bamboo border around it.... any reason why you didn't add some similar structure to the map background itself? Just curious...
Are the symbols already available for download at Profantasy?

Re: DCC #35: Gazetteer of the Known Realms
I'm late to join the ranks of those who adventure in Aereth but I certainly will do so later this year. First off let me say that this is the finest setting that I have seen in a while. It's written in a truly evocative style, has beautiful artwork and - most important - describes a world that invit...

You can easily draw these maps with CC2 and also with its follow-up CC3. http://www.profantasy.com/ These programs have a steep learning-curve though and also cost you quite some cash. The advantage is that CC3 is extremely versatile and offers you many possibilities for custom-made maps (the defaul...

This exact same question came up once before, long, long ago on a thread far, far away. If you dig through the old posts you'll find it somewhere on this board... You know what? I actually did this before I posted my question but didn't find anything. :) Since I really don't want to wade through al...

Damage - as pertains to the rules - is usually a function of the size of the attacker, not the target. A Medium giant worker ant does the same damage to everyone no matter what. What you're talking about is having the ant do more damage to smaller critters. This is my guesswork, but I think that's ...

Size and Damage - The Dragonfiend Pact
Hi everybody! While the change in damage for the PC's weapons is clearly stated in the module, I wonder if the damage that the monsters deal out shouldn't also be altered. IMO a giant ant should do more damage to tiny or even diminutive sized opponents that it does to medium-sized ones. I'm fully aw...

I'm currently running Keep on the Borderlands with my son and his friends (a bunch of 12-year boys and girls) and intend to place Legacy of the Savage Kings into the nearby marsh area - the intended place as fas as I can see... :). It's one of the best DCC adventures that I've seen so far and I'm al...

First post here - hello forum! :D I'm too running a Barakus/Dungeon Interludes combination right now, although not in the Wilderlands but in good old Greyhawk (pre-war Flanaess), with Barakus taking the place of Atirr on the coast of North Province. Up to now everything runs smoothly. The party has ...
